1. WELCOME
Welcome to The Martial Arts Method, {first_name}!
We’re thrilled to support you or your child on your martial arts journey. To keep everything clear and fair for everyone, please read the agreement below carefully before signing.
2. CANCELLATION POLICY
2.1 Flexibility to Cancel
You may cancel your or your child’s martial arts tuition at any time.
2.2 Paid-in-Full Programmes
If you have chosen a paid-in-full programme, please note that no refunds are provided for any unused portion if you decide to cancel.
2.3 Monthly Memberships – 30 Days’ Notice
For monthly tuition, we require a 30-day written cancellation notice via letter or email.
I understand and agree to the cancellation policy.
3. TUITION INCLUSIONS
3.1 Training Weeks Per Year
Your tuition fee covers 48 weeks of training per year.
3.2 What’s Not Included
Unless you are on a membership that specifically includes them, the following are not covered by standard tuition:

Belt testing / grading fees

Additional workshops, courses, camps or special events
I understand what my tuition does and does not include.
4. HEALTH DECLARATION
I confirm that:

I am fit and healthy enough to participate in physical exercise and martial arts training, or

My child is fit and healthy enough to participate in physical exercise and martial arts training.
I further confirm that there are no pre-existing medical conditions that could be adversely affected by this training, unless I have clearly disclosed them to a member of staff in writing.

5. TUITION PAYMENTS & LATE FEES
5.1 Ongoing Payments
Monthly tuition payments will continue automatically until a valid 30-day cancellation notice is received.
5.2 Encouraged Training During Notice
We strongly encourage members to continue attending and training during their notice period.
5.3 Failed Payments & Late Fees
If a payment fails, a £10 late payment fee will be added to your account.

6. EQUIPMENT & UNIFORM POLICY
To maintain safety, quality and consistency:
I understand and agree to the equipment and uniform policy.
7. MEDIA USAGE
By signing this agreement, you give permission for photos and videos taken during classes, events or gradings that include you or your child to be used by The Martial Arts Method for promotional and marketing purposes (for example on our website, social media, flyers or internal materials).
This permission continues even if your membership later becomes inactive.
I understand and agree to the media usage policy.
I consent to media usage as described above.
8. TIMETABLE & VENUE CHANGES
From time to time, class timetables, class times and/or venues may change due to operational needs, bank holidays, special events, or circumstances beyond our control.
While we always aim to give reasonable notice and minimise disruption, membership payments remain due during such changes, provided a reasonable alternative class option is available.
I understand that timetable and venue changes may occur and that payments remain due.
